The banknotes are to the value of 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 leva and the coins - 1, 2, 5, 20 and 50 stotinki and 1 and 2 leva. Fixed exchange rate: 1 Lev = 1.95583 Euro. It is recommended that you exchange your money at the designated exchange offices, at the hotel reception, at the airport or at banks.

In the hotels, on the places to rent a car and in the shops you can use all the main international credit cards.

The closest bank is located in Primorsko - 3 km from Forest Beach. It is good to take your passport with you, because you would probably like to exchange some money or to pay cheques.

Water in faucets is drinkable, however it has high chlorine content, therefore it's recommended to drink bottled water.
